PP Mark and Isobel Caulfield set off on an adventure of a lifetime some three weeks ago, to walk the epic Camino trail through Spain.  Many have described the Camino walk as a life changing journey and a route to true happiness. Judging by the many Facebook posts and photos, Mark and Isobel are experiencing something truly special.

Walking between 18-24 kilometres per day from dawn till dusk is quite a feat and it is good to see that Mark and Isobel are enjoying the experience and having a ball. Isobel says some days are easier than others and they are getting to eat great food and not so great food, but through it all they are still having a ball.

The social aspect of the walk is proving to be a lot of fun. The Caulfields now have their own Camino family, with whom they sometimes get to walk with during the day and usually end up staying at the same places.

So far they have been blessed by French nuns, seen amazing cathedrals, got lost in the bigger cities, walked past endless wheat paddocks, eaten a lot food, celebrated Canadian thanksgiving and the list goes on and on. Most importantly they have also learnt to order coffee in Spanish… “un café por favour”!!

Happy trekking to you both and keep those photos coming!!
