This week we heard from Farrah Buckland about the important work the Caroline Chisholm Education Foundation does. Through fundraising and donations from club's like ours, the foundation supports people wanting to study but can't afford the fees. I was surprised to hear how little some of the scholarships are, and yet still a barrier for so many wanting to upskill themselves through education and training. The funding provided by our club supports City of Casey residents to get a higher education. I was also happy to hear that 100% of our donation goes to directly supporting students.
Next week we are testing our knowledge at TRIVIA
