Last week we saw the impact our club is making by sending playgrounds through the Rotary Overseas Relocated Playgrounds (RORP) to Cambodia. Russell and Trudy Poole from the Rotary Club of Peninsula 2.0 told us how they got involved with Heartprint, an organization that works in Cambodia. Playgrounds are harvested from the City of Casey and sent overseas to Heartprint where they work with local workers to install the playgrounds in public areas for children from the community to use. The photos and videos were amazing; they captured the kids' enjoyment and delight playing on a playground for the first time.
This week we are doing an experimental behind the badge. Georgie and Lachie, supported by Funno will be interviewing Russell Fellows in the behind the badge - with a twist.
