This week PP Jim Wilson shared with us stories of just some of the amazing work that Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) does. RAWCS has completed many projects in Australia and worldwide. Since 1966 RAWCS has distributed $500 million in funds from governments, companies, philanthropists and donations. Their projects support Rotary's seven areas of service and use their connections, project management and governance experience to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.
Over the weekend Rotarians from various clubs gathered in Mount Martha to pack the next RORP shipping container with 14 playgrounds bound for Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was an efficient day and great to be part of the next step that takes playgrounds from all across the City of Casey to go to their new home to bring joy to children that have never had access to playgrounds.
